Rongcheng Shenfei Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. is the first shipbuilding subsidiary of Shenfei Group Co., Ltd. Located in the global shipbuilding “Golden Triangle Area”, i.e. Shi Dao Wan Bay in Rongcheng city, Shandong province, the Yard covers an area of 748,667m2 with a wharf line of 1150 m and a stretch of 1242m.The building area of the factories is 100,000m2. The Company focuses on building international standard ships less than 1500,000DWT classed CCS, BV, ABS, GL, DNV, LR, etc, such as oil tankers, chemical tankers, container ships, multi-purpose ships, bulk carriers, and so on.

The Company is invested and built in three phases. The first phase was started in May 2007 and completed in November 2007, The second and third phases are to be completed in 2008 and 2009 respectively:

The Company is equipped with production machines and equipments, such as gantry cranes, flat trucks, flame and plasma cutters, edge planers, pipe benders, welding machines, etc. Presently, the Company has 600 staff and workers and will be more than 1000 employees in 2008, among whom there are 45 engineers, 12 senior engineers and 2 Professorate Senior Engineers. At present the fabrication is mainly outsourced to subcontractors and gradulally taken over by our own employees. Till the completion of the whole shipyard, another 1500 employees are to be added. The main management is introduced from the first class Chinese Shipyrds.
